Company profile

We are award winning Master Builders, Designers, Consultants and Structural Experts.

The building company is medium sized, reliable and experienced with an unblemished building license. We undertake all types of residential construction and smaller commercial works in the Sydney area. We have the experience and teams required for any large, awkward or complicated works. We can quote from your plans, price from sketches we provide, or go all the way and provide you with plans, a price and council submission.

Our structural division operates a separate team, under the same license that undertakes underpinning, retaining walls, structural steel replacement, crack repair, concrete cancer repair, other structural failure issues and slipways.

The company Almgove Pty Ltd (trading as Structural Operations) has been in business since 1980 and the wide experience and technical skills of our business manager, Mr Greg Thomas, allows us to undertake difficult and complicated construction projects with professional ease, which is often lacking in the building industry.

Our design division is able to draft plans and submit to council if required, and undertake all aspects of subdivision. We are award winning designers who have designed and drafted council additions, subdivision work and multi-million dollar homes.

Our company has been kept to a size which allows for our company director and only the most experienced personnel to attend the sites personally, several times a week, to consult with the architect, foreman and clients. Having the company manger attend sites regularly assures quality, and reassures the client and / or architect that the project is always under control and progressing to schedule. We allocate only experienced foreman to each project for its duration, making sure tradesmen are always supervised while on site. Total projects on the go at any one time is limited to three.

We pride ourselves on our ability to offer the services of a company that can adapt quickly to specific client or architect requirements, which pursues reliability, honesty and superior technical competency, all in a professional package. We can obtain home warranty insurance and have all the other insurances you would expect of a reputable company, including contract works, public liability and worker compensation insurance.

We are long standing members of the Master Builders Association (MBA) and Housing Industry Association (HIA).

Our company also has extensive experience in heritage restoration, kitchen and bathroom renovations, indoor and outdoor pool installation, landscape works, drainage work, ventilation works, retaining walls, driveways, garden box features, ponds, decks, concrete repair, waterproofing, brick repair, engineering, pressure grouting and commercial works.

Our extensive and varied experience allows us to provide fair priced quotes for difficult work, without the need to add an inexperienced or difficulty allowance to the quote.
